Dogs Intelligence Ranking?? Quite Interesting.

Postby Ah Sia » 06 Aug 2009, 02:09

I was surfing the net and came across this Ranking of Dogs Intelligence.

Quite interesting, have a look and see how your dog fare in this ranking. :)

PS: Don't be too affected or sad if you find your dog breed at the end of the list. i believe with Mr P instructions and guidance, a Afghan Hound can also accomplished as much as a Border Colie.

Lowest Degree of Working/Obedience Intelligence
Understanding of New Commands: 80 to 100 repetitions or more.
Obey First Command: 25% of the time or worse.
70th position - Shih Tzu

Liping, I think you should send Choco's achievement to them to review the rating !!

I've been browsing some books off the shelves of libraries and realise that some books don't even list JRT in it. WTH :?

Haha.. must be either JRT is too smart or too stupid.. upon browsing the web. JRT also got another name called PRT. Parson Russell Terrier.. and there's a lawsuit going on to decide it shd be name JRT or PRT.. i think those authors decide to leave out J/PRT to avoid being kana sue. Put JRT, PRT win, ho seh liao.. vice versa. hahaha..

Oh yar, there is also another category called the rat terrier. Those JRT that you see in Singapore with both ears standing up are classified under rat terriers. So theres the JRT, the PRT the the RRT  Nitro is mixed JRT/RRT cos only one of his ear is standing
